If she met you at a party, Christine might tell you, “I help people make babies.” Our niche at CHA Law Group is supporting people with all of the legal parts of creative family-making. Which is to say, we do reproductive law—everything having to do with assisted reproductive technology (ART), surrogacy, and adoptions for straight, LGBTQ+, partnered, and single clients who want to be parents. Of course we handle other aspects of family life for LGBTQ+ folks and straight people, such as separation/divorce-related matters, including child custody. We also do wills and estate planning.

At CHA Law Group, we are primarily a peaceful people. When there’s a choice between a fight and a negotiation, we’re always going to prefer collaborative decision-making to get results for our clients. If you want an attorney to spend as much money as possible and ram the other side with particularly cumbersome discovery, unneeded depositions, unnecessary preliminary hearings, etc., you should look elsewhere. That said, not every case can settle, and if you have a contested divorce or need to battle CPS, we will be your staunchest advocates to stand up for your rights. Ask us about past tricky cases that Christine has won in the courtroom (or settled favorably) that had similar facts to your case, and we can give you specific examples.

	Jessah Castro (she/her) is CHA Law Group’s Senior Paralegal. Jessah received her B.A. in Political Science from Texas State University, where she also worked in Academic Testing for Students With Disabilities. After moving to Austin with her husband, Jessah took on a new and even more challenging role —she became a mom. Jessah appreciates the exceptional comedic stylings of Fozzie Bear, making him her favorite muppet.

	Angelina Villarreal (she/her) is CHA Law Group’s Office Manager. Angelina has a paralegal degree from Suffolk University and several years experience in the legal field. Angelina also managed a commercial drywall construction business, where she learned how to read blueprints, estimate jobs, and other math-type skills that help her be CHA Law Group’s resident numbers person. Angelina’s favorite muppet is Animal, who is probably not a numbers person. Or a person.

	Alyssa Villarreal (she/her) is a Paralegal at CHA Law Group. Alyssa is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where she earned her degree in Journalism with a minor in Global Communications. When she’s not working, she’s probably playing with her dog Chuy. Alyssa grew up in the Rio Grande Valley before moving to Austin for school; she hopes to go back to the Valley after law school and practice immigration law in her hometown. Alyssa’s favorite muppet is Animal because of his chaotic nature.

	Krystal Perez (she/her) is a Legal Assistant at CHA Law Group. She is a student at the University of Texas at Austin, earning her degrees in Psychology and Biology with a certificate in Business Spanish. When she’s not at work, Krystal is competing across the nation with the Texas Speech Team. Krystal loves taking fashion inspiration from her favorite muppet, Miss Piggy.

	Parker B. Sutliff (he/him) is a CHA Law Group Administrative Assistant. He is currently a Junior at the University of Texas, where he is earning his bachelor’s degree in Government, with a minor in History. Outside of work and school, Parker is a member of YDSA and the Platypus Affiliated Society. Parker’s favorite muppet is Gonzo, because of his bravery in stunt performances and gender ambiguity.

	Marco Villegas (he/him) is an Administrative Assistant at CHA Law Group. Marco is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Mass Communications at Texas State University. Originally from Midland, Texas, he now lives in the Austin-San Antonio metro area and has fallen in love with it. When Marco is not at work, you’ll find him engrossed in TV dramas like Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy. Kermit the Frog resonates with Marco because of Kermit’s serene composure amid chaos, mirroring Marco’s own graceful approach to life’s challenges.
